Sometimes it is overwhelming how much material comes into our store. We receive reclaimed building materials from our own deconstruction efforts, donations from building supply companies and builders, and donations from people who just have good stuff at their house that they have replaced and they hate to throw it away.

Our store can feel crowded and disorganized and sometimes I just get overwhelmed walking through.  I want organization. I want order. I want cleanliness.  But that's not always the reality of our situation.  We have a very small staff of incredibly dedicated people who work their tails off to deconstruct, transport materials, organize the materials, clean, price, fix and deliver.  Though we try to spend some days organizing at the store, our team has many demands and it's hard to organize all our things in a small space.

And now, after a year and a half at this location, we've finally given in to the inevitable and pulled the trigger on a big move.  As much as we love this current building, we have signed a lease on another space that is larger, easier to get to and has a better space for processing materials so that they might, just might, all have prices on them before they get to the floor!

We hope that this move will allow us to be more organized, less crowded, and less dirty, while at the same time allowing us to carry more things. We look forward to accepting more donations from all those builders who have garages full of left-overs they don't want and companies who have last year's inventory taking up space on their shelves.  We look forward to meeting new friends who find us on a busier road.  We love what we do and we are so excited to do it even more!

So... over the next few weeks we'll be setting up shop at the new store and trying to sell as much merchandise as possible so we don't have to move it.  Now's the time to get a great deal on that thing you've been eyeing!  And, come see the old store one more time before we move!  It's such a cool space and we're really going to miss it.  We thank you for all of your support so far and we look forward to serving you even better at our new place.

See you at the store!
